As one of Africa's largest retail financial institutions with branches and presence in 19 African countries, UBA Bank has today featured Zuriel Oduwole as its person of the week, in a tweet targeting the groups 54,000 youth followers in Nigeria.
She is recognized as a true inspiration to youths across Nigeria with her Girls Education Project, and Film making projects. She was singled out for starting her Film Class, which seeks to teach basic film making to youths across the country, thereby also gradually reducing unemployment.
Earlier, she was listed in the August 2016 edition of Forbes Afrique magazine as one of Africa's 100 Most Influential Women, alongside Africa's only2 female Presidents. It is distributes in Africa's 23 French speaking countries, as well as France, Belgium and Switzerland. She was commended for her peace making efforts at the UN last year, between the leaders of Guyana and Venezuela. Zuriel believes it is difficult for children to go to school, during civil and armed conflicts.
