APC National leader, Bola Tinubu, says it would be an affront for anybody to say he is in any hostility with the Lagos state Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode. Talking with newsmen in the wake of voting his choice in his ward at the state APC governorship primary today, Tinubu said.
''Malignity between us? I will view that as an affront. I conveyed Ambode to the general population. He was a government employee under me. He performed extremely well as a government employee and when he indicated enthusiasm for legislative issues after the initiative, we gave him the chance. I acquainted him with the party. The party acknowledged him, he turned into the Governor. Presently if the party currently say they need either a change or they need to reaffirm the governorship through open exercise, and they choose him today, so be it. You will stay relevant as a leader on the off chance that you submit yourself every so often to what your kin need." he said
