Charles Oputa a.k.a Charlyboy, has been allegedly stoned, had his car windscreen smashed and narrowly escapes mob action from traders at Wuse market, Abuja, over his #ResumeorResign protest.
Legendary Nigerian singer and social crusader, Charles Oputa a.k.a Charly Boy, who has been staging a massive peace protest tagged, “Our Mumu Don Do”, in the federal capital Abuja alongside the convener of Concerned Nigerians, Adeyanju Deji, on Tuesday escaped mob action.
According to photos and videos making the rounds on social media, Area Father as he is fondly called, took his peaceful “Resume or Resign” protest to Wuse Market in Abuja, and was warmly welcomed by many people until some hoodlums who reportedly support the president attacked him, stoned him and smashed his car’s windscreen, as he escaped the mob action.
