Tony Elemelu and wife, Dr. Awele
52-year-old billionaire entrepreneur,
Tony Onyemaechi Elumelu who is widely acknowledged as one of Africa's
most influential business leaders and philanthropists, has welcomed a
set of twin boys with his wife of 22 years, Dr. Awele Vivian Elumelu.
The trained economist and visionary
entrepreneur who made the Forbes Africa’s 50 richest list this year,
recently, welcomed the boys some weeks ago in the United States.
However, the business mogul, who already
has five daughters, ensured the news was kept under the radar to
protect his wife from the public eye.

Tony Elemelu is well known for his work
in empowering and supporting entrepreneurs through his Tony Elelmelu
Entrepreneurship Programme (TEEP).
He is the Chairman of Heirs Holdings, United Bank for Africa (UBA), Transcorp and founder of The Tony Elumelu Foundation.
