Ogechi Ihunwo, a native of Woji Town in Obio/Akpor LGA of Rivers State, was one of the kidnappers who killed a prominent Chief in Rivers State after collecting N10m ransom from the family. He confessed that persons from the deceased community contacted them to execute the job
He has taken the anti-kidnapping team of Rivers State Police Command, to their den located at Eneka/Igbo-Etche forest, where the deceased corpse was buried. Ihunwo and five other members of his gang, are currently standing trial at the RIvers State HIgh Court.
